At the core of APM Employment Services is our extraordinary team.

A group of passionate professionals dedicated to providing tailored support that transforms lives.

Our team members come from various backgrounds, each bringing a wealth of experience, empathy, and dedication to their role in helping people achieve their employment goals.

This includes a significant proportion of our team who live with or have lived experience of disability.

Training and excellence

Each member of the APM team undergoes comprehensive training to ensure that we maintain the highest standards of service.

We recognise that the landscapes of disability and employment services are ever-evolving, and as such, our team is committed to ongoing learning.

This affords us the ability to adapt to new ways of working, understand diverse perspectives, and use best practices in all our interactions.

Our staff are well-versed in the national standards of disability, equipped with the knowledge and the heart to deliver services that respect and uphold the rights and dignity of all individuals.

Through continuous professional development, we sharpen our skills and stay updated with the latest trends in workplace inclusion and disability support, ensuring informed and innovative solutions for both job seekers and employers.

Institute of Employability Professionals

We are proud to partner with the Institute of Employability Professionals (IEP), a leading professional body for the employability sector.

This collaboration ensures that our staff receive professional training and qualifications that are recognised throughout the industry.

The IEP provides a framework for quality and excellence, setting a benchmark for standards and practices within the sector.

By engaging with IEP's comprehensive resources, our team members are equipped with cutting-edge knowledge and competencies that directly translate to high-quality services for our clients.

Through workshops, seminars, and tailored training resources offered by the IEP, APM team members enhance their skills in areas such as career guidance, job matching, and employer engagement.

Plus, they gain insight and contribute to the latest research and strategies for supporting vulnerable and disadvantaged groups, including people with disability.

Supported by an IEP-endorsed skill set, APM staff are leaders in facilitating successful employment outcomes, and promoters of a culture that values continuous improvement and high ethical standards.

As part of our team, APM professionals are not just supporting people in finding jobs - they are shaping the future of work through excellence, compassion, and a shared commitment to enable better lives.

Australian Federation of Disability Organisations

We partner with the Australian Federation of Disability Organisations (AFDO) to ensure people with disability receive support that's both effective and empathetic.

Working alongside AFDO, we gain critical insights into the lived experiences of people with disability, which shapes our approach to support and informs our training programs.

The cooperation with AFDO enables us to:

1. Develop inclusive practices

Under AFDO's guidance, APM staff learn how to foster an environment that celebrates diversity and encourages inclusivity. This means providing support that is sensitive to the unique needs of each individual and accessible to all.

2. Access expertise

AFDO's wealth of knowledge becomes an indispensable resource for APM team members. By tapping into this expertise, our staff can offer support that is not only empathetic but also grounded in a deep understanding of disability issues.

3. Enhance training

The partnership with AFDO complements all the other professional development endeavours we undertake. It helps ensure our training goes beyond occupational proficiency to encompass disability awareness and empowerment strategies.

With AFDO, APM continues to ensure we are equipped to help people with disability in overcoming employment barriers.

Our team is trained not only to address the practical aspects of job readiness and placement but also to advocate for adjustments and accommodations that enable full participation in the workforce.
