We understand every experience of a health condition is different

Whether it’s diabetes, arthritis or Crohn’s disease, whatever you’re managing, we understand your health challenges are unique.

We also understand there may be differing levels of impact on the type of job or workplace you can succeed in.

That’s why when you chose us for Disability Employment Services (DES) we get to know you and the challenges you face.

You’re not alone

Arthritis is a leading cause of pain and disability in Australia, affecting an estimated 3.6 million people, or about 15% of the population.

Last year, more than 700 people with arthritis were supported by our DES teams to prepare for, find and stay in employment.

More than 1,200 people with diabetes also came to APM for support, while heart disease and respiratory disorders were also some of the most common conditions with the 11,157 participants who were in the program with a health condition.

At APM, we also know every person who registers for DES support is different. That’s why we get to know and understand you when we start working with you.

We discuss your interests, the type of work you would like to do, and your employment goals.

Then we work together to help you achieve your goals and find the right job for you.

If you're living with a disability, injury, or health condition, and want to explore tailored support to achieve your goals, speak to us today.
